We've been travelling to Goa for over 13 years, we got married in one of the villages and even had a baby in a wonderful Hospital so it's safe to say we love the place. The first few years we booked our trips through package tour operators because, like most holidaymakers we only needed a place to sleep and therefore didn't mind the average standard of accommodation available. The following years we stayed in numerous hotels and realised that there was a need for something a little different. In 2004 we purchased an old Portuguese house and over the following 3 years we refurbished it.
